Meatball Slider with Basil Pesto



These Basil Pesto Meatball Sliders are great for a party or game day. It's very simple to make them and they taste great.

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 12 slider buns
  • 1 cup basil pesto sauce
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Instructions:

Ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, chopped parsley, milk, egg, salt, and black pepper should all be mixed together in a large bowl

Mix everything together well

Make meatballs out of the mixture that are about 1 to 1

5 inches in diameter

Turn on medium heat and heat up a pan or skillet

Turn the meatballs over every so often for about 8 to 10 minutes, or until they are cooked all the way through and have a nice crust

Start by heating the oven to 350F 175C

Cut the slider buns in half and put the bottom halves on a baking sheet

Put a lot of basil pesto sauce on the bottom of each slider bun

On top of the pesto on each slider bun, put a cooked meatball

Add some shreds of mozzarella cheese to top of each meatball

Put the meatballs with cheese on top of the top halves of the slider buns

Melt some butter and mix it with garlic powder and Italian seasoning in a small bowl

Spread the butter mixture on top of the slider buns

Put aluminum foil over the baking sheet and bake in a hot oven for 10 to 15 minutes, or until the cheese melts and the sliders are warm all the way through
