Refined Sugarfree Cranberry Sauce Dip

This low-sugar cranberry sauce dip has a sour and slightly sweet taste that goes well with a variety of snacks and appetizers. The chia seeds give the sauce extra nutrition and help it thicken up without you having to use refined sugars.

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups fresh cranberries
  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Instructions:

Put cranberries, orange juice, and maple syrup in a saucepan and mix them together

Bring the mix to a boil over medium-low heat, then lower the heat to a low level

Stir the mixture every so often for about 10 to 15 minutes, or until the cranberries pop and the sauce gets thicker

Take it off the heat and add the ground cinnamon and chia seeds

Whisk them in

Allow the sauce to cool down for a while so that it can get even thicker

Put the cranberry sauce in a blender or food processor and pulse it a few times to make it smooth

Use it as a dip for your favorite snacks or small plates
