Seafood Fideua is a tasty Spanish dish that is like paella but made with noodles instead of rice. This dish is great for seafood lovers because it's full of sea flavors and fragrant spices.
Ingredients:
- 200g fideua noodles
- 200g mixed seafood shrimp, squid, mussels
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 red bell pepper, diced
- 1 tomato, diced
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 2 cups fish or seafood stock
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions:
Warm up a big pan with olive oil over medium-low heat
Put in the minced garlic and chopped onion
Saut until the onions are soft
Add the tomato and diced red bell pepper and stir
Cook for a few minutes
Put in the smoked paprika and mixed seafood
Cook until the seafood is almost done
Move the seafood to the side and add the fideua noodles to the pan
Lightly toast them
Add fish or seafood stock and season with pepper and salt
It will take about 10 to 12 minutes of simmering until the noodles are cooked and the liquid is gone
Before serving, sprinkle with fresh parsley
